You’ll find the grasshoppers used in the recipe in the shop.
Ingredients for 12 skewers
- 36 dried grasshoppers
- 100ml of light soy sauce
- 50ml of rice wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp of brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon og grated ginger
Start removing wings and hind legs of the grasshoppers paying attention in not breaking the insects. Mix all the other ingredients in a bowl whisking until the sugar is dissolved then put in the grasshoppers and let marinate for a minimum of 20 minutes to a maximum of 1 hour.
Once marinated assemble the skewers putting 3 grasshoppers for each one. Place the skewers on parchment lined baking sheet and bake them for 20 minutes at 170°C. Once cooked serve the skewers on a serving plate and enjoy!
